Grief & Loss
Grief counseling is a form of therapy that aims to help people cope with mourning the death of loved ones, or with major life changes (e.g., divorce, or job loss). Everyone experiences and expresses grief in their own way, and can be isolating, because no one understands what the pain of losing your loved one feels like. Healthy grieving results in an ability to remember the importance of the loss—but with a newfound sense of peace, rather than unbearable pain.
